Historic Northeast Tree Giveaway

In partnership with the City of Fort Wayne's Community Development Division, we gave out 250 native trees to residents of the Northside, North Anthony, and Forest Park Boulevard Neighborhoods. There was a lot of excitement about this project and all 250 trees were accounted for within the first hour of the giveaway.

A second round of 250 trees will be given away to these neighborhoods in the spring of 2025. This special program was made possible because of the Historic Northeast 2035 Plan and the desire from residents in that area to actively regrow the urban canopy cover.
