Oak Borough Planting Project
Several months back, the residents of the Oak Borough neighborhood decided they wanted to plant more trees in the community green spaces around their clubhouse and ponds. They connected with the Tree Canopy Growth Fund and through that collaborative partnership, nearly 50 native trees were planted by neighborhood volunteers in community green spaces and private yards. At the May tree planting event, we were able to demonstrate the best way to plant a tree and the neighborhood

Historic Northeast Tree Giveaway | Round 2
In partnership with the City of Fort Wayne's Community Development Division, we gave out another 250 native trees to residents of the Northside, North Anthony, and Forest Park Boulevard Neighborhoods. There was a lot of excitement about and once again all 250 trees were accounted for within the first hour of the giveaway. We even had some help unloading trees from some early arrivers.
